OUR BEAUTIFUL GIRL. ~ 18 Months Old

Daph turned 18-months-old on the 21st, and she is getting so grown up!  We got her sweet little pictures taken as well as went to her well-check appointment.  Here are her stats:

Weight:  22 pounds 12.5 ounces (40th percentile)
Height:  32.5 inches (75th percentile)
Head Circumference:  Same as @ 15 month well-check, 19.5 inches (95th percentile)

And here is our baby looking cute as can be.

JUNE

We are having a great summer and have cute pictures to prove it!  A little of what we've been up to:

Tracy Aviary
Of course, her favorite part were the rocks.

She was a little dare-devil playing in the splash pad.  At-a-girl!
First time at my family's farm

 Exhausted baby.
Wilcock reunion at Heber Valley Girls' Camp

We got a new floaty and she was feeling nervous about it so we had Big Teddy break it in.
 Date at Lagoon!

New Elmo jammies.   We now have multiple pairs.
 Father's Day
 First pony

This is exactly how Daph falls asleep every day.
One of Daphne and Daddy's favorites:  Red Vines.
 Swimming with her friend, Lincoln.

Daphne was playing with this teddy bear at my parents' house, and I turned around and she had put him right next to the kitty.  I guess she thought he needed some company to eat with.

We learned that we love sidewalk chalk!

Also this month:
~Loves cheese
~Says 'hi' to the kitty and holds his face so she can see his eyes
~Loves to dance
~Daph is the welcoming party at church, says 'hi' to all the kids she sees
~Loves swimming, cars, going outside, balls, and Elmo
~Likes to roll around/wrestle/jump on the bed
~Learned how to sign 'thank you' and blows kisses.  Her signs include: more, tired, all done, please, thank-you, hear (points to her ear, meaning 'do you hear that?')
~Always wants to see the pictures on the camera!  Explains why I have fewer and fewer pics of her actually smiling for the camera.  She mostly wants to just see herself on it.
~Sleeps on her stomach ALWAYS
~Started using silverware
~Her favorite body parts this month are 'knee' and 'elbow.'  She says both.
~Started letting me do her hair
~Words she started saying this month: "bee, please, oatmeal, water, more, bye-bye, baby, potty, Bert, Ernie, Kitty, bus, grandma, grandpa, camera, pool"
~Likes mangoes, avocados, oatmeal, Froot Loops, chocolate chips, NutriGrain Bars
~Loves her baby
~Does a great caveman walk
~Hates putting sunscreen on her face
~Says "K" for 'yes', and "A-ga" for 'outside'
~Loves story time at the library.  She saw a little boy there, went right up to him, held his hands and gave him a big kiss!  She just loved him.

MAY...FINALLY!

Finally posting our wonderful month of May!  We had so much fun exploring and hanging spending time outside.  Here's our little beauty with one of her favorite things:

Smelling the flowers we planted for FHE
 One of Daph's favorite hang-outs
Finally a pic with she and Teddy!  These two are pals and she constantly loves on him.

 Daffy's "cheese" smile

We now keep our rolls of toilet paper safely on the tank of the toilet.

 Easter party at Grandma Wilcock's
We loved the City Creek fountains...

...and the flowers at Temple Square, of course.
 Children's Treehouse Museum

Also this month....

~We danced!  Daph loves to dance.  She was especially hilarious when she started dancing non-stop in the mall.  She brings sunshine to others wherever she goes!
~Not a huge fan of riding in her stroller, but loves to push it instead.
~Tries to hold two large things in one little hand
~Went through a hitting phase this month
~Sleeping so much better thanks to one of my favorite books, The No-Cry Sleep Solution.  We also stopped nursing this month around her 16-month birthday, and it went well for us both!
~Daphne LOVES birds and could watch/chase them all day!  She is also instant friends with anyone who has a puppy.
~She started rocking her baby, and it is one of my favorite things that she does!  It is so darn cute.
~Says "a" before many of her words, such as "a rock" and "a car"
~She saw my parents' cat resting on the ground, so when we ask her how she rests then she lies down on the floor.
~LOVES my parents' cat.
~She has gotten to the point where she talks all the time and sometimes I don't have any idea what she wants.  She'll look me right in the eye and say a mysterious word over and over, with no progress on my end.
~Daph is such a great talker!  This months she started saying:  "bye-bye, diaper, more, pat-pat, elbow, cheese, cool, cracker, & Auntie."
~She also can tell you what a horse, cow, and sheep say!  We love our Daffy!!
